📌 Why do I have to respond to proposals?
When a client requests a service, Wecasa sends proposals one at a time to professionals in the area. This means:
✅ The quicker you respond, the better chance we have of confirming the booking.
✅ Refusing proposals does not have an impact on your score, but make sure to always respond to proposals and not ignore them, as we might consider you are inactive if you never respond to proposals.
💡 Tip: When refusing a proposal, always select a reason. This helps Wecasa adjust future offers to better match your preferences.
📌 How do counter-proposals work?
Not available at the requested time? Instead of refusing, send a counter-proposal!
✅ You can suggest up to 5 different time slots.
✅ If your counter-proposal is reasonable, it will be sent to the client immediately.
✅ If the client accepts, you’ll receive confirmation.
🚨 Counter-proposals are valid for 3 hours. If the client responds after this, Wecasa will check if you're still available.
🟢 Good counter-proposal example: The client requests Friday at 8 PM, and you propose Friday at 7:30 PM or 8:30 PM.
🔴 Less attractive counter-proposal: The client requests Friday at 8 PM, and you propose Tuesday at 11 AM. This will only be sent if no other pro is available at the original time.
💡 For returning clients: Your counter-proposal will be sent directly to them for faster confirmation!
📌 I received a proposal that is no longer available. What should I do?
If a proposal disappears before you respond, this means:
1️⃣ Another professional accepted it before you.
2️⃣ The client canceled before confirming with a pro.
3️⃣ It was a last-minute request, and Wecasa needed to act quickly to find a match.
📌 Remember: Clients can book as little as 2 hours before their session. For urgent bookings, proposals are sent quickly to multiple pros to increase the chances of securing a professional.
📌 Why did I receive a proposal outside my usual availability?
Even if you set your working hours, you might still receive occasional "bonus offers."
➡️ These are manual proposals sent when Wecasa struggles to find an available pro for a client.
➡️ You can accept, counter-propose, or simply decline—this won’t impact your score.
🌟 Final tip: If you want more tailored proposals, regularly update:
✔️ Your availability
✔️ Your travel area
✔️ Your preferred working hours
🚀 By responding promptly and using counter-proposals wisely, you can maximize your bookings and earnings! 🎉
