Can I leave a set of keys with my cleaner?

Short answer: Yes. We recommend being present for the first cleaning so you can welcome your pro, show them around, and share your preferences. After that, you may choose to leave a set of keys for your future sessions.

Why be present for the first visit

  • Welcome your cleaner and confirm the scope of work

  • Show them around your home (rooms, delicate areas, priorities)

  • Share your expectations and priorities

  • Indicate where you keep cleaning products and equipment

Leaving keys for future sessions

If you prefer not to be home next time, you can leave keys with your Wecasa pro.

Many clients do this; our professionals are used to working in homes while clients are out.

Additionally, you can choose from other secure methods such as using a lockbox, coordinating with a neighbor or concierge, or other services for key handover.

Tips for a safe handover

  • Don’t attach your full name or address to the key

  • Share any building access instructions in the app’s notes

  • Give instructions to your cleaner before the appointment by specifying key instructions

What happens if keys are not available at the appointment address?

Keys must be provided at the service address. If they are not available, the professional may cancel the session.

Can a professional meet me on a separate day to pick up keys?

No, Wecasa does not arrange separate key pickup meetings outside of scheduled sessions.

Important note

If you decide to leave keys with your pro, this is at your discretion and under your responsibility.

Wecasa cannot be held liable in case of loss or non-return of keys.
