🔄 How do I modify my booking?

How to change your booking details, request modifications for confirmed sessions, and what to do if your pro refuses the change.

Need to add a service, change the duration, or reschedule your session? No worries! Here’s how to modify your Wecasa booking depending on its status. 👇


📅 My booking request has not yet been accepted

If your booking is still being processed, you can modify it instantly!

📱 How to update your request:
1️⃣ Log in to the Wecasa app.
2️⃣ Select the booking request you want to modify.
3️⃣ Choose:

  • "Modify my services" → Add/remove services or adjust the session duration.

  • "Reschedule appointment" → Change the day and/or time of your session.

💡 Your changes will take effect immediately! 🚀


✅ My session is already confirmed with a pro

If your session has already been assigned to a professional, you’ll need their approval before making any changes.

💬 We recommend messaging your pro beforehand to check if they can accommodate your request.

📱 How to request a modification:
1️⃣ Log in to the Wecasa app.
2️⃣ Select the confirmed session you want to change.
3️⃣ Choose:

  • "Edit my session" → Modify the service details.

  • "Reschedule appointment" → Request a new time or date.

4️⃣ Submit your request—your pro will receive a notification and can accept or refuse.

🚨 You’ll receive a confirmation whether the change is approved or not.

If you pro refuse your change, your session will remain as it was originally. You can then cancel it if you don't want it to continue.


🔁 Modifying regular cleaning sessions

If you have a recurring booking, you can choose to modify:
Just one session → Select the specific date you want to change.
All future sessions → Apply the change to your entire recurring plan.

📱 How to modify a regular session:
1️⃣ Open the Wecasa app.
2️⃣ Select your recurring booking.
3️⃣ Tap "Edit one or more sessions".
4️⃣ Choose whether to modify just one session or all sessions.
5️⃣ Submit your request and wait for your pro’s confirmation.

🚨 You’ll receive a confirmation whether the change is approved or not.

If you pro refuse your change, your session will remain as it was originally. You can then cancel it if you don't want it to continue.


💇‍♀️ Modifying hair, beauty, or massage sessions

If you’ve booked a hairdressing, beauty, or massage service, you can request to:
Modify the services included (e.g., add a treatment).
Change the date or time.

📱 How to modify your session:
1️⃣ Log in to the Wecasa app.
2️⃣ Select the session you want to edit.
3️⃣ Choose:

  • "Modify my services"

  • "Modify time and date"
    4️⃣ Submit your request—your pro will review and confirm or decline.

🚨 You’ll receive a confirmation whether the change is approved or not.

If you pro refuse your change, your session will remain as it was originally. You can then cancel it if you don't want it to continue.


🚨 My modification request was refused. What should I do?

If your pro declines your request, it’s likely because:
❌ They don’t have availability to extend the session.
❌ They don’t offer the additional service you requested.
❌ Their schedule is already full.

In this case, your booking will remain as originally planned.

💡 If you’re unable to keep the session, you may cancel it (cancellation fees may apply depending on the notice period).
